Terms and Conditions

Program terms, payment policy, and waiver.

These terms outline expectations for students and families participating in TG Academy of Innovation.

Program Participation

Students are expected to participate respectfully and responsibly in all program activities, including virtual sessions, in-person sessions, assignments, group work, presentations, and mentor feedback activities. Students are responsible for completing assigned tasks and actively contributing to their project group.

Attendance Requirement

To receive a certificate of completion, students must attend and participate in the required program sessions, unless an absence has been approved by the organizers in advance.

In-Person Drop-Off and Pick-Up

For in-person program days, students should arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before the scheduled 10:00 AM start time unless otherwise instructed. Parents and guardians are responsible for picking up students on time, within 30 minutes after the scheduled end time. Repeated late pick-up or significant delays may result in additional fees, penalties, or removal from the program at the organizers' discretion.

Online Participation Requirements

For virtual sessions, students are responsible for having access to a working laptop or computer, a stable internet connection, Zoom access, and a Google account for shared documents, slides, forms, and assignments. The organizers are not responsible for technical issues caused by a student's device, internet connection, account access, or software setup.

Payment and Refund Policy

The program fee is due according to the payment instructions provided by the organizers. All payments are generally non-refundable. However, TG Academy of Innovation reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to issue partial or full refunds in special circumstances. Submitting payment does not guarantee a refund if a student withdraws, misses sessions, is removed from the program, or fails to complete assignments.

Media and Publicity Consent

Photos, videos, screenshots, student work, names, and program-related images may be used for reasonable public purposes, including program promotion, website updates, social media posts, flyers, presentations, and reports. If a parent or guardian does not want a student's image, name, or work used publicly, they should notify the organizers in writing before the program begins.

Conduct and Removal

Students are expected to behave respectfully toward instructors, mentors, guest speakers, organizers, and other students. Disruptive, unsafe, disrespectful, dishonest, or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the program without refund.

Assumption of Risk and Liability Waiver

Participation in the program may involve ordinary risks associated with educational activities, online communication, group collaboration, travel to and from in-person sessions, and participation at the program location. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TG Academy of Innovation, Team Galaxy, student organizers, instructors, mentors, advisors, volunteers, partner organizations, and affiliated individuals are not responsible for injury, illness, loss, damage, delay, accident, technical failure, or other claims arising from participation in the program, except where liability cannot legally be waived.

Emergency and Medical Responsibility

In case of emergency, the organizers may contact the parent, guardian, or emergency contact provided during registration. Parents and guardians are responsible for informing the organizers of any relevant medical, allergy, accessibility, or safety concerns before the program begins.

Agreement Through Payment

By submitting payment for the TG Academy of Innovation program, the parent or guardian confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms on behalf of themselves and their student. Payment serves as acknowledgment and acceptance of the program terms, payment policy, parent and student responsibilities, media consent provisions, and liability waiver described above.
